1. Centre-of-Room Cameras

Leading brands like Logitech, Neat, and Poly showcased innovative centre-of-room camera solutions that seamlessly integrate with front-of-room setups (room camera or video soundbar with in-built camera).

These demos highlighted smart switching capabilities, enhancing the viewing experience of the in-room participants in a big way providing a clear viewing angle no matter where participants are located or looking.

2. LED Advancements

This year’s show was all about LED advancements, with vendors like Samsung, LG, DiColor Australia, Sharp, and Barco pushing the envelope.

Chip on Board (COB) and Flip Chip COB technologies, particularly Samsung’s innovations, were standout features.

The buzz around pixel pitch continued, with DiColor’s 0.7mm PP LED wall grabbing attention – and for those curious, there’s even a 0.4mm version on the horizon.

3. AI Takes Centre Stage in Unified Communications

AI capabilities
were the talk of the show, with Microsoft, Zoom, and Cisco all unveiling exciting advancements.

Cisco’s integration of Nvidia chipsets to enhance AI-driven features was particularly impressive, with applications ranging from advanced facial recognition to dynamic participant framing in meeting rooms, allowing the far-end participants to see the names of each person in the room, which could be handy for newly enrolled employees to an organisation and for larger style meetings.

It’s all about making remote and in-person collaboration feel more natural and connected.

4. Sustainability moves up the agenda

Sustainability was a key theme this year
, with vendors showcasing efforts to reduce their environmental impact. Logitech, for example, is incorporating up to 62% post-consumer recycled plastic into its new MeetUp2 video conferencing soundbar. These initiatives are not just good for the planet—they’re increasingly becoming a deciding factor for buyers.
