Pro AV Solutions attends Integrate for the 10th year at MCEC

It seems like it was only yesterday when Pro AV Solutions were attending Integrate for the first time. Today, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary attending the Expo, we would also like to take this opportunity to celebrate our industry; unquestionably growing at a faster pace than expected and turning into a more inclusive industry for all. 

For the Pro AV Solutions team, it has been a remarkable and successful week full of industry insights, learning about Silobusting at our Lunch & Learn sessions, and a fantastic opportunity to meet the rest of the team at a National level. 

Unquestionably, Integrate gets better every year and 2019 has certainly been sensational for us, and for everyone who had the opportunity to attend. It was extraordinary to see the latest and most innovative technology solutions on the stands.

DAY ONE

Show visit, Lunch & Learn Panel Session and our Networking Cocktail Event.

On Tuesday the 27th of August, after visiting some innovative and inspiring stands at the show, we continued our day with our prestigious Lunch & Learn Panel session held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Moderated by so-admired Julian Phillips (Executive Vice-President at Whitlock, US member of the GPA), our clients and staff had the opportunity to hear from five inspiring panellists, all with different backgrounds and perspectives on how to break Silos amongst us all.  

The panellists included the likes of Graeme Scannell, Head of Workplace Experience at MYOB; Tegan Dobbie, Regional Director (SA) at IA Design; David Allara, Managing Director at Konnect Us; and Phil Gaut, Director Display and Memory Solutions at Samsung Australia. 

From Pro AV Solutions, we would like to thank the panellists on this thought-provoking and insightful session. It was certainly a highlight of ours at Integrate 2019.  

DAY ONE – COCKTAIL EVENT

Networking Cocktail Event & Vendor Excellence Awards

Once again, Pro AV Solutions celebrated its renowned Networking Cocktail Event & Vendor Excellence Awards at Integrate, held at Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium – a true “sea of blue” to favour our company colour! This was a great opportunity to bring together our valued clients and vendors while having some canapés and beverages, and announcing the 2019 Vendor Excellence Awards. 
Some of our staff attended the AVIA Awards, as Pro AV Solutions were shortlisted for one of the most spectacular projects we curently have in our portfolio. Good news is, we won the Education Project of the Year 2019! Thank you for the recognition, and congratuations to our team who delivered this fascinating project!

DAY TWO

Show visit and Lunch & Learn Keynote Speaker Session

After another walk around the show and a few team meetings, we were concluding Integrate 2019 with two fascinating Lunch & Learn sessions, this time guided by keynote speakers Jonathon Cartwright, Managing Director of Downstream APAC, and Rashid Skaf, President and CEO – Co-Chairman at BIAMP. During these sessions, the keynote speakers got a bit deeper into ‘why’ silos exist, ‘what’ causes them and ‘how’ to design intelligent environments to promote collaboration. 

We were delighted to have Jonathon and Rashid as our keynote speakers, influencing our staff and clients on how to break those existing silos. Thank you from the Pro AV Solutions team!

Keynote Speaker Session with Dr. Jenine Beekhuyzen

We had the opportunity to attend the renowned AVIXA Women’s Council Breakfast with Dr. Jenine Beekhuyzen. 

“Tech Girls Are Superheroes” was a very powerful session discussing the importance of engaging the next generation of workers and leaders, and transforming our approach to innovation. Jenine inspired us all to influence and create awareness on how to support and encourage women in our industry.
