Immanuel Primary School in South Australia was looking to modernise its auditorium to meet the growing demands of its vibrant school community. The existing projector system, while functional, struggled to deliver the clarity and brightness needed for modern multimedia presentations, school performances, and community events.
The school needed a solution that could deliver high-quality visuals in a large, bright space, while also being easy for staff to operate and durable enough to withstand frequent use. Above all, it needed to be future-proof—supporting a wide variety of content formats and usage scenarios.

Key Technologies
This high-resolution LED display replaces the traditional projector system in the school’s auditorium. With a pixel pitch of 1.8mm and COB (Chip-on-Board) technology, the screen delivers exceptional image sharpness and brightness, even in full ambient lighting. COB technology also enhances the screen’s durability, making it fully impact-resistant—perfect for a school environment where reliability is key.
To simplify operation for staff and students, a Crestron touch panel was integrated as the central control system. The user interface allows seamless control over the LED display and content switching, empowering the school team to manage presentations and media with ease. No technical expertise required—just a tap and go.
Unlike traditional projector systems that require bulb replacements and regular servicing, the new LED screen offers a low-maintenance, long-life alternative. With energy-efficient performance, it significantly reduces operational costs while delivering consistent image quality over time.
Our Solutions
Pro AV Solutions partnered with Immanuel Primary School to reimagine the audiovisual experience in their auditorium. The goal was to deliver a high-impact visual solution that would be easy to use, robust enough for daily school use, and capable of supporting diverse events — from school assemblies to performances.
We replaced the ageing projector with a 48m² DiColor LED screen featuring P1.8mm pixel pitch and COB (Chip-on-Board) technology. This provided a dramatic improvement in image quality, colour depth, and durability. The COB surface offers full impact resistance, making it safe and practical for a school environment.
To ensure ease of use, we integrated a Crestron touch panel control system, giving school staff a simple interface to switch content, adjust settings, and manage the AV system without technical assistance.
Since the screen’s installation, it has revolutionised our use of the space, students have eagerly taken ownership of creating digital backdrops and visual displays, adding an impressive ‘wow’ factor that has brought new energy and engagement to our community events. The space is now being used more than ever and in ways we had not thought of. We thank the work that the team have done to ensure a smooth process.
