Premier Function Spaces


Adelaide Convention Centre recently required a complete digital update of seven of their Premier function spaces due to the challenges they were facing with an outdated system. Each of the new spaces had to incorporate new projection, LCD displays, audio and conferencing technology, along with the ability to overflow via streaming and fibre interconnect-runs to existing core facilities.

With many pre-booked functions at the venue, the client’s requirements were for a high-quality, full functioning and operational system delivered by a firm deadline. This project was successfully delivered within twelve weeks from start to finish.


The client needed to see a high level of planning, consultation, project management in order to meet the challenging time frame. Along with our quality installation and configuration, the solution delivered by Pro AV Solutions met the client’s criteria.

The new technology solution delivered has greatly improved the audio visual  capabilities and audio routing flexibility within all seven spaces. The system is not a fully matrixed Extron I/O envrionment.

Simplified and user-friendly Touch-Panel controls were integrated into all spaces improving the overall user experience. We also assisted with the revision of the setup/packdown processes for their in-house technicians, making this a much more straightforward process as well as re-organising the AV rack patching.

The system also contains a robust (90Minute) UPS backup for key spaces and ample bandwidth and future capacity with significant fiber infrastructure installed for future use.
